After a whole day trapped in classroom teachers and students desperately needs some fresh air and unstructured break time .The Teacher’s Event is a type of fun professional activities for teachers. This event will include three exciting games that can be played by teachers. 1. Musical Chairs: In this game the chairs will be set up in row back to back. The music is turned on, and the players walk around the chairs. When the music stops the players race to sit in the available chairs. 2.Guess the movie: Players will be given the name of director and actor and some other clue related to that movie and accordingly the participant has to guess. 3.General knowledge quiz: Some general knowledge questions will be asked to the players , if the player knows the answer he or she has to press the buzzer and answer it.

Acm twisty cuber's club organizing a Rubik cube event, so grab your cubes and practice your moves. Player have to solve the 3D combination puzzle (3x3x3) by completing all the 3 layers of the Rubik cube. Player who solved the cube in the shortest time will get a prize. “Beat the cube, Beat the Clock”.

The Alumni meet will be an opportunity for the students pursuing engineering to gain IT industry exposure. 4 to 6 alumni will be invited for the meet. Before the seminar starts a short video of the alumni’s description and job profile will be played. The alumni will share their experience and the current industry standards and future scope. There will also be a question answer session to clear any queries that the students have.

In this challenge a single participant will take part as an entrepreneur and accept the challenges provided to him/her throughout the competition! There will be 3 rounds. Round 1.) We will provide the participants with half or missing parts of brands that are driven by some great Entrepreneur’s and we will ask them to identify the logo and name the brand. Round 2.) We will ask the participants for the ideas on how to sell the given product? The best idea will be chosen and marks will be provided accordingly and ask them to modify or update the product so that they can improvise. Round 3.) The marketing scheme in which the participants have to purchase the product which they feel they can sell at a higher price, the one participant who is able to gain the highest profit becomes the winner and he gets the profit gained by selling the product and prize!

Squad should consist of 10 members with 8 boys and 2 girls (compulsory). Every squad need to pass through these given events and in the end the squad with maximum points on the table will be known as the Squad of the year. 1.Frisbee tennis: 5 a side team, And everyone will be given a specific position just like we do in throwball or volleyball but here they will be standing on a cardboard paper (square shaped) so they cannot move from that position and a stack of chairs can be used as net above which they'll be throwing the frisbee and points will be given (volley ball points jaise) 2. Blind folded Race: 2 participants of each will be on the field. 1 participant will be blind folded and other one will guide him on the track. The instructions are reversed here 3. Carrom: The one who wins the board will get the points 4. Dog and the bone(only for girls): Split the group in three with one group on each side of the playing area along a line. Place a ball/beanbag (the bone) in the middle of the playing area. The instructor shouts a number and the three people with that number (on opposite teams) must try to get the bone before the other one. When one gets the bone, the other can try to tag them before they get back to their team line. 5. Lagori: Using seven stones and a soft tennis ball. Each team gets six chances, 2 players taking 3 chances each, to knock down the stones/wooden blocks that are stacked vertically, from some distance. Each team require 5 members.

The event has four rounds. Round 1 – Quiz Round 2 – Decode the Mystery Round 3 – Solving Problem Statements Round 4 – Personality Test

A team of 4 players play an online battle against 4 other teams, the winners of all rounds advance to the final Round. Win the final battle Round to get the prize. (Players will have to use their internet connection.

Participants will speak on one of the following topics for maximum 4 mins. The topics are: 1.”Be the change you wish to see”.(in the context of making India better). 2.Indian army (tribute) 3.What does freedom mean to you? 4.Are the traditions an obstacle to progress.(views for or against motion) 5.Is it the India that Subhash Chandra Bose/Gandhiji dreamed of?

Participants have to draw a sketch using just a pencil. They will be allotted with a time of 60 mins. The have to complete the pencil sketch in those 60 minutes. As the name suggests the participants have to sketch the drawing with a pencil.

The donations for Bal Asha Trust orphanage is being done for three days. The donation will be in the form of money or any other materials that will be useful for the children of the orphanage. From the money collected we will buy the materials that the children of the orphanage require and donate it to the orphanage.

Participants have to create an visual outout. Using any of the programming languages like Java, Python, HTML, etc. they have to generate an illustration based on the topic Independence Day. These illustrations can be something as simple as a symbol, or an entire artwork.

The game consist of two teams. Each team is made up of four players: Team Captain, Wildcard, Offender, and Defender. It is played with one 5 inch ball. The aim of the game is to outscore the opponent. Points are scored by either 1) throwing a ball and striking an opponent, or 2) Catching a ball thrown by an opponent.

Participants have to solve a given code and guess the output and hunt the code by solving lots of tricks and turns

Participants will be tied up in a chain and they have to perform some tasks to untie themselves.

The event consists of three rounds: 1. Logo identification. 2. Sell a product. 3. Choose any three products and sell them within 30 mins.

There will be a list of tasks and participants have to make a film of the tasks in reverse order.

Participants have to paint anything using any object except paint brush

There will be three rounds for this competetion: 1.Test your technical capabilities 2.Test your logical capabilities 3.Mirror Coding (Team of 2)

A team of 2 to 3 members need to submit their websites developed using HTML5, CSS3. The best design will be selected on basis of website layout, theme, use of HTML5 and CSS3 tags, CSS3 Animations. Event Head:[Abdul (9930307259)]

Codemanic is a team event and consists of 4 Rounds. Round 1: Swapping the codes Each teammate will be given one program each to execute. Midway through the program, the teammates will be asked to swap and continue with their respective teammates code. Round 2: Betting on time(error coding) In this round, one teammate will be given a program (problem statement) and the other teammate bets on how long his fellow teammate will take to correctly execute the code. The teammate who is coding will be unaware of the time limit his teammate has put on him. Round 3: Rapid Fire A anonymous coded chit containing the location of the pc where the it is located and also the code will be in a secret folder locked with the password which they have to open by decoding the password and solving the small program which will be quite easy .Team of two to three people and each round people will be eliminated according to their scores.

Three rounds:- A basic aptitude simple test ( which many people can give), Second group discussion ( amazing current topics which are universal can be discussed by anyone) and then the people who qualify this go through an interview and the one who passes it will get the job in the sense he wins the game.

Round 1 : Logo identification. Round 2: sell a product that we will give them. Round 3 : Choose any 3 products and within 30 min sell it at any price. We will plan to keep some technical aspect in this event too.

There will be 3-4 rounds for the event.(depending on the participation).Round 1: The teams would be given a set of questions to be solved and according to the answers given will be graded. Round 2: 8 teams would qualify. The teams would be given a questionnaire and they can select any 5 questions from it they have to ask any of the other teams. Grading would be done according to the answers. Round 3: 4 teams qualify. The teams would be handed another questionnaire consisting of questions of different genre. They would choose their own opponent and try and survive in d game. This round will have a time limit. Round 4: Final round two teams qualify and compete with each other.

Team of minimum 1 or maximum 3 will give solutions to real world problems and opposing teams will point flaws which will gain higher points.

MHSSCOE-ACM is organizing a 2 days workshop on Web Application Development under PHP, CSS Bootstrap. The workshop will be taken by Prof Kashif K, Abdul Qadir Zilani(BEIT) and Arafat Jahagirdar(BEIT).The speakers will give the live demo of project development.The participants will be given a participation certificate as a token of appreciation.

MHSSCOE-ACM is organising an Industrial Visit to various companies in GOA. The IV is of 4 days - 4 nights round trip. The companies we are planning to visit include : D-LINK, Coca-cola, Pepsi, G-wave, Ultratech, Cipla (any 2). Stay will be in Hotel alor grand/ Hotel Solmar/ Hotel la flor. Mean of transport : Bus. The complete schedule of IV will be forwarded to registered members only.

Resume is the most important part in the business world. Hence a proper resume is very important, so MHSS-ACM has organised a Resume Writing Competition where students need to present their resume which will be evaluated by the Quinnox representative. Hence students can learn to write a better resume for their career.

MHSS-ACM has organised a Free Health Checkup for all students of M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering. Health checkup will include various tests along with consultancy regarding the Health Matters if any. This Health Camp will be organised in association with Apollo Hospital.

Posters are a way of expressing your ideas. Poster Making Competition is organised on the theme of Independence Day, where the participant needs to represent their idea as a poster regarding Independence.

A Health Camp will be organised on Woman's Day in association with Giants Group of Mazgaon and Saifee Hospital. The Health Camp will include various tests for children. MHSS-ACM along with Giant Group invites various schools and people around the college.
